I worked directly with the Marketing Manager of CAT along with his marketing team. The project required working with a range of suppliers including; glassware, foam, paper, packaging, and glass printers, as well as internal printers and production staff to ensure the product was perfect and delivered on time
Overview
Following on from the success of the whiskey glass giftbox project, I was again tasked to design and develop a branded whiskey decanter and giftbox to complete the set for CAT’s customers.
Keeping the fragile and expensive crystal decanter secure while being shipped to their customers was the main problem. The solution was to create a custom laser cut foam insert that fit tightly within the branded packaging. The giftbox was designed again with subtle finishes such as smooth anti-scuff silk laminate and clear spot uv elements to reflect CAT’s attention to detail with all of their products.
