Team
I worked directly with the Marketing Manager of CAT along with his marketing team. The project required working with a range of suppliers including; glassware, paper, packaging, and glass printers, as well as internal printers and production staff to ensure the product was perfect and delivered on time.
Overview
I worked along side the CAT marketing team to find a unique solution for gifting to their valued customers. In an industry where gifting a fleece vest or branded cap is the everyday norm, CAT wanted to stand out from the crowd with a memorable and lasting gift.
The solution was a set of branded whiskey glasses packaged in it’s own branded gift box. The brief wanted to have a focus on user experience, so I included in my design a pull out drawer gift box, with inset glasses, presenting the brands logo perfectly upon opening. This engaged the customer, along with subtle uses of clear spot uv on design elements and smooth anti scuff laminate throughout the product.
The project was very well received by their customers. It was a satisfying outcome personally after designing and project managing the entire project.
